Matthias Deeg, member of the SySS team has found a way to crack hardware-encrypted and FIPS-certified USB Flash Drives from several vendors.

Envault's password free protection technology is not affected. Envault is not vulnerable to such attacks, because each envaulted drive and each envaulted file are protected using unique random secret keys, and the whole data is not available on the drive.
