Envault Airlock™ Protection tool

Protection tool for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. Included in Envault Removable Media Protection product.

Envault Airlock is a small yet powerful encryption application that allows your users to share Envaulted documents on removable media with computers that are not in your network, e.g. with a customer’s PC.

Airlock forms on the removable media a temporary data storage where the fragment is stored together with the rest of the Envaulted file. This makes reading the file possible without a network connection or the Envault Removable Media Protection client.

What sets the Envault Airlock apart from traditional encryption:

1. It works – Airlock software is platform independent, and requires no admin privileges or software/driver installations on host machine.
2. The lifetime of the Envaulted files in Airlock can be limited (1 second – unlimited).
3. The capacity of Airlock can be limited (number of files and/or total size in megabytes).
4. The access to Airlock can be public or passphrase protected (with centrally defined passphrase strength requirements).
5. All events are logged, allowing auditing of what was done with your company documents even while out of the office.
6. Can be operated in both directions: New files can be copied to Airlock on visited computer.
